'Fini' is in International Competition of the 2011 edition of Visions du Réel.
The screenings of 'Fini' will take place on:

The Danish Film Academy held their Annual Robert Prisen (Robert Awards) on November 6 at the Circus Building in Copenhagen.
Fini won the Robert for Best Short Documentary of 2010 and the director Max Kestner was there to present the Award and he gave the following statement:
It took the jury just a few moments to decide which film was this year's best short documentary.It's one of those films that can not pitches and therefore there are very few.
It is a film whose confident belief in the documentary moments transforms dull generalities into magic generalities.
It is a film that does not pander to anyone, but rather quietly, with obvious love draws us into a greater understanding of human biological conditions in the short time we are here.
It is a film about a man who has left himself and us.
It is a film that must become a classic. It is FINI.
The Robert was awarded for the first time in 1984. They are named after Danish sculptor Robert Jacobsen, who designed the statuette.
